How to Customize Fonts on a Products Block in PhotoBiz

Overview

PhotoBiz Products Blocks use your website’s global font settings by default. You can customize an individual Products Block if you want its product titles, prices, or other supported text to use different typography.

Depending on the Products Block layout and content, you can customize the font face, font size, letter spacing, and line height for supported text elements. These block-level settings override the corresponding global font settings for that Products Block.

This guide walks you through opening the font settings for a Products Block and choosing which text elements you want to customize.

STEP ONE

STEP TWO

Open the page that contains the Products Block you want to customize.

Click the product content in the block, or click the pencil icon in the upper-right corner of the Products Block. Then click ADVANCED to open the block settings.

STEP THREE

Click FONTS in the right-side settings panel.

The font options available depend on the Products Block layout and the content displayed in the block. You may see font controls for elements such as TITLE, PRICE, and LAST ITEM TEXT.

FINAL STEP

Choose the text element you want to customize and adjust its available font settings. Depending on the element, you can change the font face, font size, letter spacing, and line height.

When you are finished, click SAVE CHANGES. Your updates are automatically applied to your website. There is no separate publish step.

Products Block Font Options

The exact options available can vary depending on the Products Block layout and the content being displayed. Common font controls include:

TITLE: Controls the typography used for your product titles.
PRICE: Controls the typography used for product pricing.
LAST ITEM TEXT: Controls supported text associated with the final item area of the Products Block.

Not every layout or configuration will display the same font options.

How Products Block Fonts Work With Global Fonts

Your Products Block uses the fonts configured in your website’s global DESIGN settings unless you customize them directly within the block.

When you change a font setting inside a Products Block, that setting overrides the corresponding global font setting for that individual block. Other Products Blocks and other areas of your website continue using their existing settings unless you customize them separately.

Using the PhotoBiz Font Bank and Typography Controls

The font controls used by Products Blocks work the same way as the font controls available in other supported Website Builder blocks.

You can use the PhotoBiz font bank to select a font face and use the available controls to adjust font size, letter spacing, and line height. Customized settings can also be removed if you want the block to return to its global font settings.
