How to Set Up iTransact as a Payment Method in PhotoBiz
PhotoBiz integrates with iTransact, allowing you to securely accept credit and debit card payments through:
- Client Galleries
- Scheduler
- Invoicing
- Forms
- Online Store
This guide will walk you through how to connect your iTransact account to PhotoBiz, how to manage refunds, and how to access your PCI compliance certificate.
Refunds
To issue a refund for an order processed through iTransact:
โก๏ธ Log in to your iTransact account and process the refund directly from your dashboard.
โ Refunds cannot be issued from within PhotoBiz.

๐ Log in to your iTransact account at: https://secure.paymentclearing.com/g/cp/user_sessions/new
STEP ONE
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and go to the ECommerce section in your control panel.
STEP TWO
Hover over Paymentย in the top navigation and click on Merchants.
STEP THREE
Click the โNew Merchantโ button.

Merchant Type: Select iTransact from the dropdown menu (Stripe is the default, so be sure to change it).

Fill out the required fields:

Payment Name โ We recommend using something like Credit/Debit Card.

Gateway ID โ This is provided by iTransact when your account is created.

ADDITIONAL SETTINGS
- Accepted Credit Cards โ Choose which card types you want to accept (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AmEx, Diners Club).
- Special Instructions โ Add any checkout notes for your customers here (e.g., order timelines or terms).
- Thank You Message โ This message will appear on the checkout screen and customer receipt after successful payment.
Once complete, click ADD MERCHANT to activate iTransact as your payment method.
Need Proof of PCI Compliance?
If a client, bank, or institution requests proof of PCI compliance:

PhotoBiz provides a PCI compliance certificate for your account.
You can access it anytime by going to your Merchant settings and clicking the PCI Certificate link, as shown in the screenshot below.
