Overview
PhotoBiz ECommerce uses price lists to control which products, services, packages, prints, digital images, and other items are available for purchase on your website.
Your Global Price List is the default price list shown to the general public on your website. This price list is used when you display ECommerce items through Products Blocks or Services Blocks in the Website Builder.
This guide walks you through how to choose which price list is set as your Global Price List in your ECommerce Dashboard.
Before you begin, make sure you have already created the price list you want to use as your Global Price List. If you have not created a price list yet, create the price list first, then return to these steps.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click ECOMMERCE in the left-side menu.
This opens your ECommerce Dashboard, where you can manage your online store, products, services, orders, price lists, coupons, taxes, and other selling tools.
At the top of the ECommerce Dashboard, hover over SELL ONLINE and click PRICE LISTS in the dropdown menu.
This opens the Price Lists section of your ECommerce Dashboard.
Review your list of price lists.
In this section, you can see the price lists that have been created in your ECommerce account. You can also see which price list is currently marked as the Global Price List.
The Global Price List controls the default products, services, and pricing shown on your public website when you use ECommerce Products Blocks or Services Blocks.
Click the name of the price list you want to make your Global Price List.
Inside the price list settings, click SET AS GLOBAL PRICE LIST. Then click Save Changes to apply the update.
Once saved, that price list will be used as your Global Price List. Any Products Blocks or Services Blocks connected to your general ECommerce pricing will use this price list for public website visitors.
You can create multiple price lists for different parts of your business. For example, you may want separate price lists for weddings, portraits, schools, sports, Client Galleries, or special promotions.
Only one ECommerce price list can be set as the Global Price List at a time.
Changing your Global Price List does not delete your other price lists. It only changes which price list is used as the default for your public website ECommerce display.
If you are using Client Galleries, price lists for gallery events may be managed separately in the Client Galleries Dashboard. This guide applies to price lists managed in the ECommerce Dashboard.
Why do I not see the price list I want to use?
The price list may not have been created yet, or it may be managed in a different dashboard. Make sure you are in the ECommerce Dashboard and that the price list was created under SELL ONLINE and PRICE LISTS.
Will this change prices in Client Galleries?
Not necessarily. Client Galleries can use price lists assigned to specific gallery events. If you need to update pricing for a Client Gallery Event, check the price list assigned inside the Client Galleries Dashboard.
Will this update my website automatically?
Yes. After you click Save Changes, your Global Price List update is applied automatically. There is no separate publish button.
