Overview
The Bounced section of the PhotoBiz Marketing Dashboard shows email addresses that could not receive messages sent from your account. This list includes delivery failures from Email Campaigns, Email Automations, and Email Invitations.
PhotoBiz automatically excludes bounced email addresses from future emails to help protect your sending reputation and improve email deliverability. This guide explains how to view your complete bounced email list, open the associated contact record, and review bounced addresses for an individual Email Campaign.
A bounced email is a message that the recipient’s email server could not deliver.
An email may bounce because:
Bounced email addresses are automatically excluded from future Email Campaigns, Email Automations, and Email Invitations.
Important Information About Bounced Emails
Before removing a contact’s bounced status, check the email address for spelling mistakes or confirm the correct address with the contact. Removing the bounced status does not correct the original delivery problem.
If a future message is rejected by the recipient’s email server, the email address will automatically return to the bounced list.
Bounced and unsubscribed are separate email statuses. Removing a bounced status does not change a contact’s unsubscribe status. Contacts who have unsubscribed remain excluded from future Email Campaigns, Email Automations, and Email Invitations.
