Overview
The PhotoBiz Form & Contract Builder allows you to create custom forms for lead capture, orders, contracts, questionnaires, client requests, and more. Each form includes built-in design settings that control how the form looks when it is used as a standalone form page.
You can customize the form’s template, styling, colors, background, buttons, borders, and opacity. This guide walks you through how to update the look and feel of a standalone form in PhotoBiz.
If you want your form to match your website’s fonts, colors, and page layout more closely, you can also add the form to a page in the Website Builder using a Form Block. That option gives you access to additional Website Builder blocks for more control over the full page design.
All form submissions are automatically captured and stored in your PhotoBiz CRM. This makes it easy to review submissions, track leads, manage client information, and follow up with people who complete your forms.
The Form & Contract Builder design settings control the appearance of the form itself. These settings are best for customizing the standalone version of your form.
You can use the form design settings to adjust:
These settings are helpful when you want to quickly customize how the form looks when clients open it directly from its form link.
If you want more control over the full page around your form, add your form to a page in the Website Builder using the Form Block. This is recommended when you want the form page to match your website more closely.
Using a Website Builder page allows you to add other blocks above, below, or around your form, including:
This is helpful when you want to add an introduction, use your website’s layout, include branded images, or create a more polished landing page for inquiries, bookings, applications, questionnaires, or orders.
The form design settings still control the form itself. The Website Builder gives you more control over the full page experience.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click FORMS in the left-side menu.
This will open your Forms Dashboard, where you can view, create, and manage your saved forms and contracts.
At the top center of your Forms Dashboard, click FORMS to access your Form Editor.
This area allows you to open existing forms or create a new form.
Search for or scroll to the name of the form you want to customize. Click the form name to open it in the Form & Contract Builder.
If you need to create a new form, click Add Form and finish setting up the form before customizing the design.
Click the Paintbrush icon in the upper-right corner of the form editor.
This opens the form design settings, where you can customize the visual style of the standalone form.
In the Edit Form Theme section, review the available design areas.
You can customize the form’s current template, styling, colors, and background. These settings control how the form looks when clients view and complete it.
Choose your form template.
In the Current Template section, you can choose between a Full Width or Narrow Width form layout. Click Change to preview the available layout options.
Full Width is helpful when you want the form to use more horizontal space. Narrow Width is helpful when you want a more compact form layout.
Click Save under the one you want to use.
Customize the form styling options.
In the Styling section, you can adjust the visual appearance of the form fields and buttons. Depending on your form theme, these options may include the form background opacity, form field label style, form fields and buttons, and borders.
Use these settings to make the form easier to read and better match your brand.
Customize the form colors.
In the Colors section, click the color swatches to choose colors using the color picker. You can also enter a HEX code if you have a specific brand color you want to use.
These color settings help control the appearance of form elements such as buttons, text, fields, and other design details.
Choose a form background.
In the Background section, you can choose the background style for your form. Available options include No Background, Background Library, and Custom Background.
Use a background that keeps your form easy to read. If you use an image background, make sure the form fields, labels, and buttons still stand out clearly for your clients.
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
Your form design updates will be saved and applied to the standalone form. You can return to the design settings at any time to update the template, styling, colors, or background.
Use a Website Page for Branded Form Experiences
For the most polished result, use the Form Block on a Website Builder page when the form is part of a larger client experience. This works well for contact pages, booking inquiry pages, mini session signups, model calls, senior inquiry forms, wedding questionnaires, school order forms, sports order forms, and application forms.
Keep the Form Easy to Read
Strong design should make the form easier to complete. Use clear contrast between the form background, text, fields, and buttons. Avoid busy backgrounds behind important form fields.
Use Introductory Text Above the Form
Adding a short Text Editor Block above your form can help visitors understand what the form is for, how long it takes to complete, and what happens after they submit it.
Match the Rest of Your Website
If your website already uses specific fonts, colors, imagery, and page layouts, placing your form on a Website Builder page can help the form feel like a natural part of your site instead of a standalone form.
Why does my form look different when I add it to a website page?
The form design settings control the form itself. The Website Builder controls the page around the form. If the page includes other blocks, spacing, fonts, colors, or backgrounds, the full page may look different from the standalone form view.
Can I use Website Builder blocks with my form?
Yes. When you add a form to a Website Builder page using the Form Block, you can use other blocks on the same page. This gives you more control over the full layout and allows you to add supporting text, images, titles, buttons, and other design elements.
Do I need to publish my changes?
No. In the PhotoBiz Website Builder, the Save button automatically applies updates to your website. There is no separate publish button.
Will form submissions still go to my CRM if the form is added to a website page?
Yes. Form submissions are still automatically captured and stored in your PhotoBiz CRM, whether the form is viewed directly or added to a website page using the Form Block.
