Where Can I Add Google Tags To PhotoBiz For Tracking

Overview

PhotoBiz makes it easy to add Google tracking tags to your website so you can monitor traffic, conversions, and user behavior. Depending on your goals, you can install tracking codes across your entire website, apply them to specific pages, or add them directly to forms.

In this guide, you will learn where Google tags can be added in PhotoBiz, what each option is used for, and when to use each method.

Website Builder (Global Tracking)

The Website Tracking section inside the Website Builder allows you to add a Google tag that automatically applies to every page on your website.

This is the most common and recommended method for adding tracking.

Use this option for:

  • Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Google Search Console verification
  • Global advertising or remarketing tags

Once added, the tracking code loads across your entire website without any additional setup.

Individual Pages (Advanced Tracking)

Each page in your PhotoBiz website includes an SEO Settings section with an Advanced Tracking area.

This allows you to add tracking code to a specific page only.

Use this option when you want to:

  • Track conversions on a thank-you or confirmation page
  • Add event-specific scripts for marketing campaigns
  • Monitor performance of a single landing page
  • Install page-specific pixels, such as Google Ads or Meta tracking

Code added here will only apply to that individual page.

Form Editor

The Form Editor includes a built-in Tracking section that allows you to add Google tracking scripts directly to a form.

This allows you to track form submissions without needing a separate confirmation page.

To access this option, open your form, click the gear icon (⚙️), and select Tracking.

Use this option for:

  • Google Ads conversion tracking
  • Lead generation tracking
  • Contact form submissions
  • Event tracking through Google Tag Manager

Tracking added here applies specifically to that form and triggers when the form is submitted.

Client Galleries

Client Galleries can be included in your overall tracking strategy, but tracking is handled differently compared to website pages.

Google Analytics does not track detailed client actions inside galleries, such as:

  • Favorites
  • Comments
  • Downloads
  • Saved carts

This activity is automatically tracked within your PhotoBiz account under the Client Galleries Activity section.

For analytics tracking:

  • Install global tracking through the Website Builder
  • Monitor overall user behavior, including gallery visits

Email Marketing

PhotoBiz Email Marketing includes built-in performance tracking for your campaigns, allowing you to monitor opens, clicks, and overall engagement directly within your PhotoBiz account.

If you want more advanced tracking, such as detailed traffic behavior or conversion data, you can connect Google Analytics to your Email Marketing settings.

Use this option for:

  • Tracking how email campaigns drive traffic to your website
  • Measuring conversions from email marketing efforts
  • Gaining deeper insights into user behavior after clicking email links

To add Google Analytics tracking to your Email Marketing campaigns, go to MARKETING, click SETTINGS, then select ANALYTICS and paste your Google tracking code.

Once added, Google Analytics will track visitors who click through your email campaigns to your website.

Additional Options or Helpful Notes

  • Use Website Tracking for most tracking needs to ensure full site coverage
  • Use Individual Page tracking when you need more specific or isolated data
  • Use Form Tracking when you want to track submissions as conversions directly
  • Avoid adding the same tracking code in multiple locations, as this can cause duplicate or inaccurate data
  • Google Tag Manager is recommended if you plan to manage multiple tracking scripts
