If you need to adjust upgrade pricing for sizes, finishes, materials, or other product variations, you can update the additional pricing directly inside your product settings.
This guide walks you through how to edit pricing for existing product options and sub-options in PhotoBiz ECommerce. By the end, your updated pricing will automatically apply to your website and Client Galleries.
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click ECOMMERCE in the left-hand menu.
This opens your ECommerce dashboard where you manage products, pricing, and online sales.
At the top of the ECommerce dashboard, hover over SELL ONLINE, then click PRODUCTS from the dropdown menu.
You will see a list of your existing products.
Search for and click on the product that contains the option or sub-option pricing you want to update.
This opens the product editor.
Click the OPTIONS button inside the product editor.
You will see your existing option categories, such as Size, Finish, or Cover Type.
Click on the option category that contains the sub-option you need to edit.
Locate the specific sub-option you want to update.
In the Additional Price field, adjust the pricing as needed.
You can enter:
A fixed dollar amount increase (for example, 20.00)
A percentage increase (for example, 10%)
If you are reducing a charge, simply update the amount accordingly.
Once you make your changes, click SAVE CHANGES.
Your updated pricing is automatically applied. There is no publish button.
Preview your product on your website or inside a Client Gallery to confirm:
The correct option displays
The pricing updates correctly when selected
The checkout total reflects the new amount
Your updated pricing is now live and will apply to all future purchases of that product.
Base Price vs. Additional Price
The base product price is the starting price of the item.
The Additional Price is the amount added when a specific sub-option is selected.
If you need to change the base product price instead, edit the main price field in the product settings rather than the sub-option.
Hiding Upgrade Pricing
Inside the option settings, you can choose whether to display upgrade pricing next to sub-options. Even if pricing is hidden, the system will still calculate the correct total at checkout.
Updating Multiple Sub-Options
If you need to update several upgrade prices, repeat the same process for each sub-option within the option category.
