Overview
The Last Item feature in PhotoBiz helps you control how much content appears inside certain Website Builder blocks. Instead of displaying every item at once, you can limit the initial layout and give visitors an option to load more content or follow a link.
This is helpful for image grids, product listings, service lists, blog previews, scheduler options, and client gallery blocks. It can make longer pages easier to browse and help your website load more efficiently.
This guide walks you through where to find the Last Item settings and how to choose the best Load More Link option for your website layout.
The Last Item feature is available in supported PhotoBiz Website Builder blocks, including:
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on WEBSITE in the left-side menu.
Open the page that contains the block you want to edit.
Click directly on the block, or click the pencil icon on the block, to open its editing settings. Once the settings panel opens, go to the Advanced section.
In the right-side settings panel, locate the option labeled LOAD MORE LINK.
This setting controls what happens after the last visible item in the block. Depending on your selection, visitors can load more items directly on the page, click a link to continue somewhere else, or see only the items included in the current block layout.
Choose the LOAD MORE LINK option that works best for your layout.
If you select None, no additional link is added. The block will only display the items allowed by your selected row and column settings.
If you select Yes, as a Load More link, a Load More link appears at the bottom of the block. When visitors click it, more items are displayed on the same page based on the block’s layout settings.
If you select Yes, as a Standard link, a clickable link is added after the last visible item. This option lets you send visitors to another destination, such as an internal page, external website, form, marketing campaign, file download, phone number, email address, physical address, video, or pop-up.
Click Save Changes when you are finished. Your updates are applied to your website automatically.
When set up correctly, visitors will see a clean section of content with a clear option to view more items or continue to another destination.
The Last Item feature is most useful when a block contains more items than you want to show at one time. For example, you may want to show a small preview of images, products, services, or blog posts without making the page feel too long.
Your row and column settings control how many items appear before the Load More Link option appears. If you want more or fewer items to show at first, adjust the block’s layout settings.
Use Yes, as a Load More link when you want visitors to stay on the same page and reveal more content.
Use Yes, as a Standard link when you want to guide visitors to a full gallery, product catalog, service page, blog archive, booking page, or another important destination.
Use None when you only want the selected items to appear and do not want to offer an additional action.
Why is my Load More Link not showing?
The Load More Link only appears when the block contains more items than the layout is set to display. Check your row and column settings, then confirm that the block has additional items available.
Why do I not see the same options on every block?
The Last Item feature is only available on supported Website Builder blocks. Some block types may have different settings based on how that block displays content.
Does this replace a regular button?
No. The Load More Link is connected to the block’s item display. If you want to add a separate call-to-action button anywhere on the page, use a Button Block.
