HOW TO CHANGE THE LAYOUT OF AN IMAGE BLOCK
The PhotoBiz Website Builder makes it easy to showcase your portfolio by using image blocks. Each image block can have its own layout, allowing you to customize how your photos are displayed. This guide will walk you through how to update the layout of any image block on your website.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on WEBSITE from the left-hand menu.
STEP TWO
Click on the page that contains the image block you'd like to update.
STEP THREE
Click directly on the image block you want to edit. The menu on the right will open.
STEP FOUR
Click on LAYOUT to view all available layout options.
IMAGE BLOCK LAYOUT OPTIONS
You can choose from 20 layout styles. Here's a quick overview of what each one does:
- SQUARE – Images display as squares in a grid. Titles and descriptions appear on hover.
- PORTRAIT – Taller images in a grid. Titles and descriptions appear on hover.
- LANDSCAPE – Wider images in a grid. Titles and descriptions appear on hover.
- EDITORIAL CIRCLE – Circular images in a grid. Titles and descriptions appear below the image.
- EDITORIAL SQUARE – Square grid with titles and descriptions below.
- EDITORIAL LANDSCAPE – Wide rectangle grid with text below.
- EDITORIAL PORTRAIT – Vertical rectangle grid with text below.
- PINBOARD – Images maintain original size and are arranged in a flowing grid. Text appears below.
- COLLAGE 4 / 5 / 6 – Fixed layouts that crop images to fit. Only the number of images matching the collage set will display. Titles/descriptions appear on hover.
- MODERN SQUARE – Cropped squares with titles overlaying the image. Descriptions are not supported.
- MODERN PORTRAIT – Vertical images with title overlays. Descriptions are not supported.
- MODERN LANDSCAPE – Horizontal images with title overlays. Descriptions are not supported.
- STACK MINI – Images fill 70% of the space, stacking in rows. Text appears below.
- STACKABLE – Images fill 100% of the content width, stacked one on top of another.
- GALLERY – One large image displays at the top with thumbnails below. Arrows let users navigate. Text appears over the main image.
- SLIDESHOW – Auto-playing slideshow with uncropped images. Titles and descriptions appear over each slide.
- CAROUSEL – A scrollable horizontal row of images.
- CAROUSEL SLIDESHOW – Similar to Carousel, but auto-playing.

When you find a layout you like, click the SAVE button below it to apply it to your image block.
That’s it! Your images will now display using the new layout you selected.
