Overview
If your PhotoBiz control panel looks incomplete, displays information in the wrong layout, does not load your website preview, or has features that are not working, the issue may be related to your web browser. For example, an outdated browser may prevent drag-and-drop tools, buttons, menus, tables, or other interactive features from working correctly.
Outdated browser software and stored browsing data can prevent the control panel’s layout, styling, and functionality from loading properly. This guide explains how to refresh the control panel, update your browser, and clear your browser history, cookies, and cached files.
PhotoBiz supports current versions of modern browsers, but we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome for the best experience when managing your account.
If the website preview specifically displays a Connection Failure message, review the section below before completing the browser troubleshooting steps.
A Connection Failure message means PhotoBiz cannot currently load your website inside the control panel preview. It does not mean your website content has been deleted or that any data has been lost.
This message can appear when:
Domain propagation can take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours. If you recently launched your website or changed its DNS settings, allow time for those changes to finish propagating.
If you have not recently launched your website or changed its domain settings, contact PhotoBiz Support so we can check the domain connection and SSL certificate. Clearing your browser history or cache will not resolve a Connection Failure message.
Before clearing your browser data, make sure you know your PhotoBiz login email address and password. You should also have access to your two-factor authentication method if 2FA is enabled on your account.
Clearing cookies and site data will sign you out of PhotoBiz and may sign you out of other websites you use in the same browser.
Log into your PhotoBiz account and open the section of the control panel that is not displaying correctly.
Confirm that your browser zoom is set to 100%. Browser zoom can cause menus, buttons, or other control panel elements to appear misplaced or missing.
Refresh the page. You can also perform a hard refresh by pressing Ctrl + Shift + R on Windows or Command + Shift + R on a Mac. A hard refresh reloads the page without using the version currently stored by your browser.
If the control panel still does not display correctly, continue to the next step.
Open your browser settings and check for available updates. Install any available updates, then completely close and reopen the browser so the update can finish.
PhotoBiz supports current versions of modern browsers. We recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome for the best control panel experience.
If your browser is current and the problem continues, proceed to the next step.
Open your browser settings and locate the option to clear browsing data, browsing history, or website data. The exact name and location of this setting will depend on the browser you use.
Choose All Time or the equivalent option for the time range. Clear your browsing history, cookies and other site data, and cached images and files.
You do not need to clear saved passwords, passkeys, payment information, or autofill data. Leave those options unselected unless you also want to remove that information from your browser.
Clearing cookies and site data will sign you out of PhotoBiz and other websites in that browser.
Completely close all open browser windows after clearing your browsing data. Reopen the browser and log back into your PhotoBiz account.
You may be asked to complete 2FA Verification during login. This is expected because clearing cookies removes the browser’s saved login session.
Return to the area that was not displaying or working correctly. Confirm that the layout loads normally and that features such as the website preview, menus, buttons, and drag-and-drop tools are working.
If the problem continues, review the additional troubleshooting options below.
Use the official help guide for your browser if you need assistance installing updates or clearing browsing data:
Test Another Browser
If the control panel still does not display correctly, log into your PhotoBiz account using another current browser. If it works correctly in the second browser, the issue is likely limited to the settings, stored data, or extensions in the original browser.
Temporarily Disable Browser Extensions
Ad blockers, privacy extensions, security tools, and other browser extensions can interfere with website scripts or control panel features.
Temporarily disable your browser extensions and reload the PhotoBiz control panel. If this resolves the issue, enable the extensions again one at a time to identify which one is causing the conflict.
Try Another Device
Log into your PhotoBiz account from another computer or device. If the control panel works correctly there, the issue is likely associated with the browser or settings on the original device.
Having Trouble Uploading Images?
If the PhotoBiz control panel displays correctly but your images will not upload, see Troubleshooting Image Upload Issues on PhotoBiz. That guide covers browser issues, internet connection problems, supported file formats, image sizes, and filenames.
Safari updates are included with macOS updates and are not installed separately through the Safari browser. Install the latest macOS version supported by your Mac to receive available Safari updates.
If your Mac cannot install a newer version of Safari or the problem continues after updating and clearing your browsing data, try accessing the PhotoBiz control panel through the latest version of Google Chrome.
If the control panel still does not display correctly, contact PhotoBiz Support. Please include the browser you are using, your browser version, your computer or device type, the affected control panel section, and a screenshot of what you see.
