How to Embed an Image in a Form

Oct 22, 2024 | By: PhotoBiz Knowledge Base

Share

Sometimes you might want to add an image or two onto a form to showcase session information or price lists, but you noticed there's no Images block in the Form builder. There are 2 different ways to use images with forms. The easier option is to use a Form Block on your website builder and add an image block to the page you're using the form on. The other option is to embed your image on the form builder in the Text editor. This guide will walk you through embedding an image in a form using the Text Editor block in the Form Builder.

PRO TIP!

Although you can embed an image directly into your form using the Text Editor block, it's much easier to add a Form Block to a page on your website and then use an Image Block on the same page. This way, your form and images can be presented together seamlessly.

Learn More: How To Use Form Blocks

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on FILES in the left side menu.

STEP TWO

Click on DOCUMENTS at the top of the page and upload the image you want to display on your form to the Documents section of your PhotoBiz account.

After you've uploaded your image, you can highlight and copy the direct link to the image file on your PhotoBiz account.

STEP THREE

Click on the FORMS option in the left side menu and click on the existing form you want to use an image on OR create a new form.

STEP FOUR

Add a Text Editor block to your form by clicking on the text editor icon in the right menu.

STEP FIVE

Click on the Text Editor block to edit and then click on the HTML tab. You'll want to enter the code below into the HTML section and paste your file link inside the parenthesis and replace the copy that says IMAGE LINK GOES HERE. Click on Save Changes to save the embedded image code in your text editor.

Enter image URL into the code below.

STEP SIX (optional)

Resize the image

Once you correctly embed your image in the Editor block, it will likely be very large, depending on the dimensions of your image. If this is the case, go to the VISUAL tab of the Editor block and highlight the image, similar to how you'd highlight text. If done correctly, the image will turn blue and you'll see anchor points at the corners. Drag the anchor points to make the image smaller.
