How to Add Text to Banner Blocks on Your Website
Banner blocks are a great way to showcase large images at the top of your web pages. You can add titles, captions, and buttons to turn your banners into engaging call-to-actions or links to other parts of your website.
Follow the steps below to add text to your banner images.
Important Note: If you're using mobile banner images they will appear on your website if you're viewing your website on a phone. You'll want to add any titles or descriptions you're adding to your regular banner images to your mobile images as well.
STEP ONE
Log into Your PhotoBiz Account
- Head over to PhotoBiz.com and log in.
- From the left-hand menu, click on WEBSITE.
STEP TWO
Select the Page You Want to Edit
Choose the page where you'd like to add a new banner or edit an existing one.
STEP THREE
Open the Banner Block
- Click inside the banner block to edit it,
or
- Click the pencil icon at the top-right of the block and select Advanced.
STEP FOUR
Choose Your Banner Image
- In the panel on the right, you'll see thumbnails of your banner images.
- Click on the thumbnail of the image you'd like to add text to.
STEP FIVE
Add Your Text
You’ll see text fields for the following:
- Title – Main headline or testimonial quote
- Subtitle – Supporting text or attribution
- Alternative Text – Helps with SEO and accessibility. Ask PhotoBiz AI will automatically read your banner image and create alt text for you image using the Ask PhotoBiz AI button.
Type your text into the fields and click Save Changes to apply.

Adjusting Text Alignment
You can also customize where your text appears on the banner:
Set both vertical and horizontal alignment (e.g., top left, center, bottom right, etc.).
Add a Button (Optional)

Add button text and link it to any:
- Page on your website
- External website
- Form
Customize Your Banner Fonts
You can override your global font settings for each banner block by customizing:
- Title font
- Subtitle font
- Button text font
Options include:
- Font family
- Font size
- Letter spacing (kerning)
- Line height
Don’t forget to click Save Changes at the bottom when you're done!
Once your changes are saved, your banner will update live on your site with the new text and styling.
