How to Delete Images from Your Client Galleries

Overview

You can delete individual images, multiple images, or an entire gallery from a Client Galleries event. Deleting files immediately frees storage space in your PhotoBiz account, making room for new uploads.

Deleting an image also permanently removes any event activity connected to that image, including favorites, comments, and saved cart items. This guide explains how to delete selected images or a complete gallery from an event.

Before You Delete Images

Deleting images or galleries from Client Galleries is permanent and cannot be undone. Confirm that you have selected the correct files before completing the deletion.

When you delete an image, PhotoBiz also removes any activity associated with that image from the event. This may include:

Favorites
Comments
Saved cart items
Image selections
Other image-specific client activity

Deleting an entire gallery removes the gallery, every image inside it, and all activity associated with those images.

Re-uploading a deleted image adds it to the event as a new file. It does not restore previous favorites, comments, saved cart items, or other activity associated with the original image.

STEP ONE

This will open the Client Galleries Dashboard.

STEP TWO

Select Events from the top menu of the Client Galleries Dashboard.

The Events section displays the Client Galleries events currently stored in your account.

STEP THREE

Click on the name of the event containing the images you want to delete.

The event workspace will open and display the galleries associated with that event.

STEP FOUR

Open the gallery containing the images you want to remove.

From the gallery, you can delete selected images or remove the entire gallery and all of the images stored inside it.

STEP FIVE

To delete selected images, click and drag your mouse across the images you want to remove.

After selecting the images, click the delete button above the thumbnails.

A confirmation message will ask you to confirm that you want to delete the selected images. Select Yes, delete them to complete the deletion.

STEP SIX

To delete an entire gallery, select the trash can icon beside the gallery name.

A confirmation message will ask whether you want to delete the gallery and all of its images. Select Yes to permanently remove the gallery.

You only need to complete this step when you want to remove the entire gallery. Do not delete the gallery if you only want to remove specific images.

FINAL STEP

Review the event and confirm that the correct images or gallery were removed.

The deleted files will immediately stop counting toward your account’s file storage limit, making additional space available for new uploads. The deleted images will no longer be visible to clients, and any favorites, comments, saved cart items, image selections, or other activity associated with those images will also be permanently removed.

Helpful Notes

Deleting selected images does not delete the gallery or the Client Galleries event.
Deleting a gallery removes every image stored inside that gallery.
These instructions do not delete the entire event.
Deleted files immediately free storage space in your PhotoBiz account.
Download or save a backup of any images you may need before deleting them.
Deleted images must be uploaded again if you remove them by mistake.
Re-uploading an image does not restore its previous event activity.
Clients can no longer view, favorite, comment on, download, select, or add a deleted image to their cart.
