How to Rename Blocks & Add Anchor Links in PhotoBiz

Your PhotoBiz Website Builder lets you organize your content into blocks. Renaming blocks makes your site easier to manage, and those names can also be used to set up anchor links. Anchor links are shortcuts that let visitors jump directly to a specific section of a page, such as your "Pricing" or "Contact Form."

This guide will show you how to:

  1. Rename blocks for better organization.

  2. Use renamed blocks to create anchor links on your website.

Part 1: How to Rename Blocks

Renaming blocks helps you stay organized, edit faster, and even set up anchor links.

STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on WEBSITE in the left-side menu.

STEP TWO
Select the page that contains the block you want to rename.

STEP THREE
Click on the block name in the top right corner of the block.

STEP FOUR
Type a clear name for your block in the right-side panel. For example: “Pricing Section” or “Contact Form.” Click Save Changes to update the name.

FINAL STEP
Your block will now display the updated name in your Website Builder, making it easier to find later.

Pro Tip: Renaming is especially useful if you have multiple Text or Image blocks on the same page.

Part 2: How to Add Anchor Links

Once your blocks are renamed, you can use them to create anchor links. This lets visitors skip straight to that section of your page.

STEP ONE
In the website builder, open the page that contains the block you want to link to.

STEP TWO
Click on the block’s name in the top right corner. Make sure the block is clearly renamed so you’ll recognize it when creating your link.

STEP THREE
Go to the page where you want to add the clickable anchor link. This could be a button, list block item, text editor, text + image block, or another place that allows links.

STEP FOUR
When adding the link:

  • Select Page

  • Then choose the Block you want to link to.

FINAL STEP
Save your changes. Now, when visitors click your link, they’ll jump directly to that section of the page.

Why This Matters

  • Better Organization: Clear block names keep your site tidy and easy to update.

  • Improved Navigation: Anchor links help visitors find what they need quickly.

  • Professional Experience: Streamlined site structure improves usability for your clients.
