How to Publish a Blog Post in PhotoBiz

Overview

The PhotoBiz Website Package includes a built-in blog that allows you to share updates, showcase sessions, promote services, and keep your website content fresh. Publishing blog posts helps you stay connected with your audience, improve your website visibility on search engines, and create content you can share across email marketing and social media.

In this guide, you will learn how to publish a blog post from your PhotoBiz control panel. You can publish your post immediately, schedule it for a future date, or save it as a draft.

You will also learn how to use the new Promote This Blog Post feature to quickly turn your blog post into an email marketing campaign using Ask PhotoBiz AI.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click BLOG in the left-side menu.

This opens your blog dashboard, where all of your blog posts are stored.

STEP TWO

Click NEW POST to create a new blog post, or click an existing draft if you want to publish a post you already started.

This opens the blog post editor where you can add, review, or update your blog content.

If you have many blog posts, you can use the search bar to quickly locate a specific post.

STEP THREE

In the blog post editor, click the PUBLISH button in the upper-right corner.

This opens your publishing options. From here, you can choose whether to keep the post as a draft, schedule it for later, or publish it immediately.

FINAL STEP

Choose how you want your blog post to be published, then click SAVE CHANGES.

Once saved, your blog post will follow the option you selected. It will remain as a draft, publish at the scheduled date and time, or appear live on your website immediately.

If you publish the post, you can view it on your live website blog page.

Publishing Options Explained

You can choose from the following publishing options:

  • Draft: Saves your post without making it visible on your website. Draft posts can only be viewed inside your PhotoBiz control panel.
  • Schedule Publishing: Allows you to choose a future date and time for your post to go live. Scheduled posts will not appear on your website until the selected publish date and time.
  • Publish Now: Immediately publishes your post so it is visible on your website.

After You Publish

After publishing your blog post, you will see an option to PROMOTE THIS BLOG POST.

This feature allows you to quickly create an email marketing campaign based on your blog post using Ask PhotoBiz AI.

PhotoBiz AI automatically generates an email campaign designed to help you share your new content with your contacts and drive traffic back to your website. The generated email can include:

  • Your blog post title
  • AI-generated promotional email content
  • Links back to your website
  • Calls-to-action encouraging readers to visit your blog

Before sending the campaign, you can review and edit the email content inside the Marketing section of your PhotoBiz account.

Using the Promote This Blog Post feature is one of the easiest ways to:

  • Keep clients engaged with your business
  • Drive more traffic to your website
  • Promote recent sessions or announcements
  • Share educational or promotional content
  • Encourage repeat website visits

Every PhotoBiz Website Package includes email marketing tools, making this a powerful way to promote your content without needing third-party marketing software.

Important Notes

  • Your blog post title automatically generates the URL for the post
  • Changing the title after publishing will also change the URL
  • If the URL changes, any existing links to that post may no longer work
  • Scheduled publish times follow the time zone set in your PhotoBiz account settings
  • Saving changes applies updates instantly, there is no separate publish button for your website
  • If your date settings are configured to hide publish dates, the creation date and publish date will not display on your blog posts or in your control panel
  • The canonical version of your blog post URL is automatically generated in the format:
    https://www.yourdomain.com/blog-post/blog-post-title
  • Your blog post is automatically added to your RSS feed once it is published, which can be submitted to search engines like Google

Troubleshooting & FAQs

Why isn’t my blog post showing on my website?

Your blog post may not appear on your website if it is still saved as a draft, scheduled for a future date, or scheduled for a time that has not arrived yet based on your account time zone.

Open the blog post in your control panel and check the publishing option. If needed, update the setting to Publish Now and click SAVE CHANGES.

Can I edit the email created by Promote This Blog Post?

Yes. The generated marketing email can be fully edited before sending. You can customize the subject line, text content, links, and overall messaging inside the Marketing section of your PhotoBiz account.
