How to Change the Blog Post Cover Photo Layout in PhotoBiz

Overview

PhotoBiz allows you to customize how the cover image and title information appear on individual blog post pages. You can choose between two layouts, Classic and Banner, to control how your blog post title, publication date, and author information are displayed.

The Classic layout displays this information above your blog post content, while the Banner layout places it over a large image at the top of the page.

This guide walks you through changing your blog post cover photo layout using your website's global design settings.

STEP ONE

Click on the DESIGN tab at the top of your Website control panel.

Click on the EDIT DESIGN SETTINGS button to access your global website design settings.

FINAL STEP

In the DETAIL PAGE LAYOUTS section, locate BLOG DETAIL PAGE LAYOUT.

You can choose between two layout options:

Classic: Displays your blog post title, publication date, and author information above the cover image.
Banner: Displays your blog post title, publication date, and author information over the cover image.

Click SAVE beneath your preferred layout to apply the change to your website.

Your selected layout will be used for individual blog post pages, giving your blog posts a consistent appearance.

What Your Visitors See

Your selected layout determines how the heading area of individual blog posts appears when visitors open them on your website.

PhotoBiz uses the first image in your blog post as the banner unless you've assigned a custom blog cover image.

Classic Layout Example

With the Classic layout, visitors see the blog post title, publication date, author information, and share option above the post content. The blog post's images and text appear beneath the heading.

Banner Layout

With the Banner layout, visitors see the blog post title, publication date, author information, and share option displayed over a large banner image at the top of the page. The remaining blog post content appears below the banner.

Helpful Notes

The Classic and Banner options are global website design settings. Your selection determines the layout used for individual blog post pages throughout your website.

These settings control the appearance of your blog post heading and cover image. They do not change the arrangement of text, images, or other content within your blog posts. You can manage that content separately using the Blog Post Editor.
