Overview
If you are having trouble uploading images to your PhotoBiz account, most issues can be resolved with a few simple checks. Upload problems are commonly related to browser settings, file size, formatting, or internet connection. This guide walks you through the most effective troubleshooting steps to identify and fix the issue. By the end, you should be able to successfully upload your images without errors.
Update Your System
Make sure your operating system and web browser are fully updated before attempting to upload images. Outdated software is one of the most common causes of upload issues because it can prevent your browser from properly handling modern web tools. After updating your system, close and reopen your browser before trying again.
For the best experience, use the latest version of Google Chrome when uploading images.
Here are links to check for updates with the most common systems and browsers:
Clear Your Browser Cache
Your browser may store outdated files that interfere with uploads. Clearing your cookies and cache removes these stored files and allows your browser to load the most current version of the PhotoBiz system. After clearing your cache, restart your browser and log back into your account before attempting another upload.
Here’s how:
Check Your Internet Connection
A slow or unstable internet connection can interrupt or fail image uploads. Test your connection speed using a reliable speed test tool. If your speed is low, restart your router or modem and try again. A stable connection is especially important when uploading multiple images or larger files.
You can test your internet speed her: Speedtest.net
If your speed is low, try restarting your router or checking for router updates.
Use the Correct Image Format
Ensure your images are saved in a supported format before uploading. PhotoBiz supports .jpg and .png file types. Other file formats may not upload correctly or may fail during processing. If your file is in a different format, open it in an image editing program and export it as a .jpg or .png file.
Simply renaming the file extension will not convert the image format.
Resize and Optimize Your Images
Large image files can cause slow uploads or failures. Optimizing your images before uploading helps improve performance and ensures compatibility with your website.

If you need to upload larger files, the Original Files add-on allows uploads up to 50MB per image.
Check Your File Names
File names that are too long or contain special characters can sometimes cause upload issues. Rename your files using shorter, simple names with standard characters (letters and numbers only) before uploading.
If you need your images to display in a specific order, consider renaming them in sequence before uploading.
Why are my images uploading out of order?
Image order is typically based on file name. Rename your files in the desired sequence before uploading.
Why are my images not uploading at all?
This is usually caused by file size, format, browser issues, or internet connection problems. Follow each step in this guide to identify the cause.
Can I upload files larger than 4MB?
Yes, with the Original Files add-on, you can upload files up to 50MB.
