Overview
Meta Business Suite may require you to verify your website domain before you can use certain business, advertising, and content-management features. Domain verification confirms that your Meta business portfolio owns or controls the domain connected to your website.
This guide explains how to add your domain to Meta, copy the Meta verification tag, and place it in your PhotoBiz website’s Tracking settings. After Meta detects the tag, your domain will appear as verified in your Meta business settings.
Important: PhotoBiz is not affiliated with Meta or Facebook. PhotoBiz Support can help you add the verification tag to your PhotoBiz website. Questions about Meta permissions, business portfolios, advertising, Pixels, or domain ownership must be handled through Meta Business Help.
Before you begin, make sure:
Meta regularly updates its interface. The names or locations of its settings may differ slightly from the steps shown below.
Log in to Meta Business Suite using the Facebook account connected to your business portfolio.
Make sure you are working inside the correct business portfolio before continuing.
Open SETTINGS, and then click MORE BUSINESS SETTINGS if that option appears.
Depending on your Meta account, Meta may take you directly to Business Settings without displaying MORE BUSINESS SETTINGS.
In Business Settings, locate BRAND SAFETY or BRAND SAFETY AND SUITABILITY, and then click DOMAINS.
Click ADD or CREATE A NEW DOMAIN to begin adding your website domain.
Enter the root version of your domain without www, https://, or a page address. For example, enter example.com instead of https://www.example.com/about.
Click ADD to add the domain to your Meta business portfolio.
Select ADD A META-TAG TO YOUR HTML SOURCE CODE as the verification method.
Copy the complete meta tag provided by Meta. The tag should begin with.
Do not copy only the verification number or remove any part of the tag.
In a separate browser tab, log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu. Click TRACKING at the top of the Website Builder.
Locate the field and paste the complete Meta verification tag on a new line. If the field already contains Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other tracking code, do not delete or replace it.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click SAVE CHANGES. Saving automatically applies the tag to your live website. You do not need to publish the website separately.
Return to Meta Business Settings and open the domain you added. Click VERIFY DOMAIN or the verification button displayed by Meta.
Once Meta detects the tag, the domain should appear as verified. Leave the Meta verification tag in the PhotoBiz field after verification so Meta can continue confirming your ownership.
If Meta does not detect the verification tag immediately, wait a few minutes and try again. You can also refresh Meta Business Settings before clicking the verification button another time.
Check the following before contacting support:
example.com. field. field. If Meta reports that the domain is already verified or owned, it may be connected to another Meta business portfolio. PhotoBiz cannot remove or transfer domain ownership within Meta.
Check whether you or someone else associated with your business previously verified the domain through another portfolio. If you cannot access the portfolio that owns it, contact Meta Business Help for assistance.
Verifying your domain confirms your website ownership within Meta. It does not:
These features require separate setup within your Meta account.
