Overview
Your PhotoBiz Website Package includes a Blog tool you can use to share updates, promotions, featured sessions, announcements, and helpful content with your audience. After you publish a blog post, you can use the Email Invite option to send the post directly to selected contacts or individual email addresses.
This guide walks you through how to send an email invitation for a published blog post. It also explains how to review email invite activity and what to do if a recipient does not receive the invitation.
If the person you are sending the email invite to has previously unsubscribed from your emails, they will not receive the blog post email invitation.
Email delivery can also depend on the recipient’s email provider. Some schools, universities, government offices, corporations, medical organizations, and other managed email systems have stricter email security policies. These systems may block or filter automated emails before they reach the recipient’s inbox.
If a recipient reports that they did not receive the email invitation, confirm the email address is correct and ask them to check their spam, junk, promotions, or quarantine folders. You can also copy the blog post link and send it directly from your regular email account.
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click BLOG in the left-side menu.
This will open your Blog control panel, where you can create, edit, publish, and share blog posts.
Open the published blog post you want to share.
Email invitations are designed to help you share blog posts after they have been published. Make sure the blog post is published before sending the email invitation.
Click the SHARE button toward the top right of the Blog Post Editor.
A right-side menu will open with sharing options for your blog post.
The Email Invites option appears first and opens by default in the right-side menu.
This area allows you to send the blog post directly to contacts already saved in your PhotoBiz account or to other email addresses you enter manually.
You will also see other sharing options in this menu, including a one-click email marketing campaign option, direct URL sharing, social media sharing, and a QR code option. This guide focuses on using Email Invites.
Enter the contact or email address you want to send the blog post invitation to.
If the person is already saved in your Contacts, their contact record will appear as you type. Select the contact from the list.
If the person is not already saved in your Contacts, you can enter their email address manually. The email address will be added to the invitation.
After you have added the contacts or email addresses you want to invite, click CONTINUE at the bottom of the right-side menu.
Review and customize the email invitation before sending it.
You can update the following fields:
When everything looks correct, click SEND to send the blog post email invitation to the selected contacts or email addresses.
After the invitation is sent, you will see a confirmation screen. The recipient will receive an email invitation with your branding and a link to view the blog post.
Your client will get an email similar to the one below with your branding and information on in their inbox. There will an option to unsubscribe from marketing emails at the bottom right corner.
After you send an email invitation, you can review invite activity from the contact’s profile.
Click CONTACTS in the left-side menu, open the contact record, and click the EMAIL INVITES tab. This area shows email invitations sent to that contact, including details such as the invite name or subject, sent date, and status.
The Email Invites tab can help you see whether the recipient interacted with the email invitation. Statuses may include whether the invite was delivered, opened, or clicked.
A delivered email means the recipient’s email provider accepted the message. It does not always mean the message appeared in the recipient’s main inbox. The email may still be filtered into spam, junk, promotions, or quarantine depending on the recipient’s email settings.
If an email address has bounced or has delivery issues, that information appears in the contact’s information section, not as a status in the Email Invites tab.
