How to Rename a Block on a Page
Renaming blocks in your PhotoBiz Website Builder makes it easier to stay organized — especially if you have multiple blocks of the same type on a page. By giving each block a clear name, you’ll always know which section you’re working on.
Why Should I Rename Blocks?
Renaming blocks is optional, but it can make building and managing your site much easier. Here are some common reasons to rename blocks:
-
Stay Organized
When you have several blocks of the same type (like multiple Text or Image blocks), renaming helps you quickly tell them apart in the builder. -
Edit Faster
Clear block names save time when you return later to make updates, because you don’t have to guess which block is which. -
Improve Teamwork
If more than one person works on your site, named blocks make it easier for everyone to know which section they’re editing. -
Set Up Anchor Links
Renamed blocks can also be used to create anchor links, which let visitors jump directly to a specific section of your page (like “Services” or “Contact”).
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on Website in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
Select the page that contains the block you want to rename.
STEP THREE
Click on the name of the block in the top right corner of the block you want to rename.
STEP FOUR
Type the new name of your block in the right-side panel. Click Save Changes to update the block name.
FINAL STEP
Your block will now display the updated name in your Website Builder for that specific page.
