If you already have an image gallery page on your PhotoBiz website, that’s a great start! To make the most of it—both for your visitors and for search engines—there are a few simple ways to enhance your page for better visibility and performance.
This guide walks you through how to improve an existing gallery page by:
Open Your Gallery Page
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.
Locate the existing gallery page you want to optimize and click on the IMAGE BLOCK to begin making updates.
Review & Curate Your Images
Take a moment to review the images on your gallery page:
• Aim to display your best 30–50 photos per gallery.
• Remove outdated or duplicate images.
• Update images to reflect your current style and skill level.
• (Optional) Add alt text to your images to describe what’s pictured.
Tip: Too many images can slow down your page. Use the Load More feature to keep your page fast and user-friendly.
Add or Edit Your Page Title
Every gallery page should have a clear, descriptive title that tells both visitors and search engines what the page is about.
Example:
“Senior Photography in Asheville, NC”
This automatically becomes your page’s H1 tag, which is important for SEO.
To edit the title:
Write or Update Your Page Description
Underneath your title, include a descriptive paragraph or two (aim for 300–500 words) that helps visitors and search engines understand what your gallery is about.
Your description should cover:
Example Description (for senior portraits):
“Jane Doe Photography captures modern senior portraits in Charlotte, NC, and surrounding areas. Whether you’re an athlete, musician, or artist, my goal is to highlight what makes you unique. Sessions can be on location or in-studio, with beautiful options for both digital images and wall art for your family to enjoy.”
Tip: Write naturally for people first, and include your most relevant keywords naturally within your text.
