Overview
You may want to add an image to a form, such as a session flyer, pricing sheet, schedule, or other visual reference for your clients. The PhotoBiz Form Builder does not include a dedicated Image Block, but you can still add an image by embedding it into a Text Editor block.
The recommended option is to add your form to a website page using a Form Block, then place an Images Block above or below it in the Website Builder. This gives you better control over the layout, spacing, and mobile display. This guide walks you through the alternate option: embedding an image directly inside a form using the Text Editor block.
For the easiest setup and the most flexible layout, we recommend adding your form to a website page with a Form Block, then placing an Images Block above or below it.
This option works best when you want more control over image size, spacing, page layout, or design.
Learn more: How To Use Form Blocks
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click FILES in the left-side menu.
This opens your Files area, where you can upload and manage files stored in your PhotoBiz account.
Click DOCUMENTS at the top of the Files area.
Upload the image you want to use in your form. Once the image has uploaded, click the file options for the image and copy the direct file URL. You will paste this image link into the Text Editor block later.
Click FORMS in the left-side menu.
This opens the Forms Dashboard in your PhotoBiz account.
Click FORMS at the top center of the Forms Dashboard.
This opens your list of saved forms. Find the form you want to update, then click the form name to open it. If you have several forms, use the search bar to quickly locate the form you want to edit.
You can also create a new form if you want to add the image to a brand-new form.
Add a Text Editor block to your form.
In the Form Builder, click the Text Editor icon from the right-side menu. This adds a Text Editor block to your form, where you can add text, links, formatting, and embedded images.
Click the Text Editor block to edit it.
In the Text Editor toolbar, click the Insert Image icon. This icon usually looks like a small photo or image.
Paste the direct file URL you copied from your Files area into the Image URL field.
You can also add alt text for the image. Alt text is a short description of the image that helps with accessibility and gives screen readers more context.
Click OK to embed the image into the Text Editor block.
Resize or align the image as needed.
To resize the image, click the image once and drag the small boxes at the corners to adjust its size. To align the image, use the left, center, or right alignment options in the Text Editor toolbar. Center alignment often works best for flyers, pricing sheets, and client-facing graphics.
Click Save to apply your changes to the form.
Your image will now display inside the form through the Text Editor block.
Embedding an image directly inside a form is useful when you want the image to appear as part of the form content itself.
For more advanced layout control, use a Form Block on a website page and place an Images Block above or below the form instead. This option is usually better for larger graphics, promotional flyers, pricing guides, or layouts where image placement is important.
If your image includes text, preview the form on a mobile device before sharing it. Small text inside an image may be difficult to read on phones.
For best results, resize large images before uploading them. Very large images may display too wide inside the form or be difficult to view on mobile devices.
JPG and PNG files work best for images added to forms. Avoid using PDFs in the image embed field, since the Text Editor image tool is designed for image file URLs.
Why does my image not appear in the form?
Make sure you copied the direct file URL from your PhotoBiz Files area and pasted it into the Image URL field. If the link is incomplete or points to a file preview page instead of the image file, the image may not display correctly.
Can I upload the image directly inside the form?
The Text Editor block uses an image URL to embed the image. Upload the image to FILES, copy the direct file URL, and then paste that link into the Text Editor block.
Can I use a PDF instead of an image?
No. The Insert Image tool is designed for image URLs, such as JPG or PNG files. If you need to share a PDF, upload it to FILES and add a text link to the PDF inside the Text Editor block instead.
Is this the best way to add a flyer or pricing sheet to a form?
It works, but the recommended option is to place your form on a website page using a Form Block, then add an Images Block above or below it. This gives you better control over the layout and how the image appears on the page.
Can I add alt text to the image?
Yes. When inserting the image, you can add alt text in the image settings. Alt text should briefly describe what the image shows, such as “Spring mini session pricing flyer.”
