How to Create a Hidden Page to Design Behind the Scenes

One of the most common questions we get at PhotoBiz is:
"How can I design or update a page without making it live right away?"

Good news — it’s easy!
You can work on your pages privately by setting them as HIDDEN.
This guide will walk you through how to create a hidden page so you can build, design, and preview it — without showing it on your live website until you're ready.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on WEBSITE in the left-side menu.

STEP TWO

Click the NEW PAGE button at the top left of the Website Builder.

STEP THREE

The New Page Library will open on the right side.
Choose the type of page you want to add — either a Blank Page or a Predesigned Page — by clicking the SELECT button.

STEP FOUR

Set up your new page:

  • Page Name: Enter a title for your page.

  • Include Content: Choose whether to keep the sample content from the predesigned layout.

  • Page Visibility: Set it to HIDDEN so it won't appear live on your site.

Once you're ready, click CREATE PAGE.

Working with Your Hidden Page

After you create the page:

  • It will automatically be added to the bottom of your page list.

  • It will stay hidden from your live website until you manually publish it.

  • You can preview your work by clicking the preview link under the page title.

When you're happy with your changes and ready to go live, simply update the Page Visibility setting to Active.
