How to Change or Hide Blog Post Dates in PhotoBiz

Overview

PhotoBiz gives you control over how dates appear on your blog posts, including the ability to change the date format or hide dates from displaying entirely. This is helpful if you want a consistent date style across your blog or prefer a cleaner, timeless look without visible publish dates.

In this guide, you will learn where to manage your blog date display settings and how those settings affect your website. The actual publish date for each blog post is managed separately inside the individual blog post editor.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click BLOG in the left-side menu.

This opens the Blog Manager, where you can manage your blog posts and blog-wide settings.

STEP TWO

At the top center of the Blog Manager, click SETTINGS.

This opens the settings area where you control how your blog displays on your website.

FINAL STEP

In the General Settings section, locate the Date Display Format dropdown menu.

Use the dropdown menu to choose how dates should appear on your blog posts. Available options include:

  • MM/DD/YYYY
  • DD/MM/YYYY
  • YYYY/MM/DD
  • YYYY/DD/MM
  • May 21, 2026
  • Thursday, May 21, 2026
  • Thursday, May 21
  • 21 May 2026
  • Thursday 21 May
  • Thursday 21 May 2026
  • Don’t display date

After making your selection, click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.

Your update applies immediately and affects all blog posts across your website.

Additional Options or Helpful Notes

  • This setting only controls how dates display on your website. It does not change the actual publish date assigned to a blog post.
  • Blog post publish dates are managed individually using the Publish settings inside each blog post editor.
  • Hiding blog dates can be useful for evergreen content that should not appear time-sensitive.
  • Date display settings apply globally to your entire blog and cannot currently be customized per individual post.
