Overview
PhotoBiz automatically records the date when a contact unsubscribes from your emails. You can view this information from the contact’s details in your PhotoBiz account.
Checking the unsubscribe date can help you manage your contact list, understand audience engagement, and confirm that a contact has opted out of email communication. This guide explains how to find the unsubscribe date and update the contact’s preference if they have given you permission to receive emails again.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click CONTACTS in the left-side menu.
This opens your Contacts area, where you can search for and manage the people saved to your account.
Use the search bar to enter the contact’s name or email address.
Click the appropriate contact from the search results to open their contact details.
Review the contact’s details panel. If the contact has unsubscribed, their unsubscribe status and the date they opted out will appear in their contact information.
If no unsubscribe date appears, the contact is not currently marked as unsubscribed.
Only update an unsubscribed contact when they have clearly given you permission to begin sending them emails again.
Click the pencil icon beside the contact’s unsubscribe information. Open the status drop-down menu and select No Answer.
Select the checkbox beside the following confirmation:
“By updating this preference I certify the contact has given their permission to receive emails.”
Click Save to confirm the change.
After you save the updated preference, the contact will be removed from your unsubscribed list and may receive future marketing campaigns, automated emails, and email invitations.
Do not resubscribe a contact without their consent. A contact should personally request to receive your emails again before you update their preference.
Keeping an accurate record of each contact’s email preference helps you respect their choices and maintain a healthy email marketing list.
