Overview
You can adjust the slideshow speed for supported Image Block layouts in your PhotoBiz Website Builder. This setting controls how quickly images advance when the block uses a slideshow, carousel, carousel slideshow, or supported card-style layout.
Changing the slideshow speed helps you control the pace of movement on your website. A slower speed gives visitors more time to view each image, while a faster speed creates a more active visual display.
This guide walks you through how to update the slideshow speed for an Image Block on your PhotoBiz website.
Before you begin, make sure your Image Block is using a layout that supports slideshow speed.
This setting is commonly used with slideshow, carousel, carousel slideshow, editorial carousel, and card-style Image Block layouts. If you do not see the Slideshow Speed option, the layout you selected may not use timed image transitions.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.
This opens your Website Builder, where you can manage your website pages, blocks, and design settings.
Click the page that contains the Image Block you want to update.
This opens the page editor so you can view and edit the blocks on that page.
Click the Image Block you want to change.
This opens the Image Block editing panel on the right side of your screen.
Click STYLING in the right-side panel.
Locate the Slideshow Speed option. Use the slider to choose how many seconds you want each image to display before the layout advances to the next image.
You can choose a slideshow speed between 1 and 10 seconds.
Click Save Changes to apply your updated slideshow speed.
Your Image Block will now use the speed you selected for its slideshow, carousel, or supported card-style movement.
A slower slideshow speed is helpful when you want visitors to spend more time viewing each image.
A faster slideshow speed may work well for visual galleries, featured image sections, or homepage image displays where you want more movement.
After saving your changes, preview your website on desktop and mobile to make sure the slideshow timing feels right on different screen sizes.
