How to Customize Colors and Icons in Client Galleries

Overview

PhotoBiz Client Galleries include theme settings that let you control the look and feel of your proofing events. You can choose a gallery theme, customize your color scheme, and select button and icon styles that match your brand.

In this guide, you will learn how to open your Client Galleries design settings, add or edit a theme, change button and icon styles, and update the colors used across your Client Galleries.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on CLIENT GALLERIES in the left side menu.

STEP TWO

Click on DESIGN at the top, center of your Client Gallery dashboard.

STEP THREE

Click on the THEMES button to access the settings for the theme of your client galleries. The default theme is called designer and features a blue accent color and rounded icons.

Click on the EDIT button to edit the theme you have select or click on ADD A THEME to choose from the other available theme options.

STEP FOUR

To add a new theme, click ADD A THEME.

You can choose from the available theme layouts, including:

Classic
Sunshine
Mint
Bold
Sea Breeze
Nature
Designer
Cool Breeze
Monochromatic
Warmer Daze

Click the theme you want to use, then click ADD to add it to your Client Galleries control panel.

STEP FIVE

To customize an existing theme, click the theme you want to update, then click EDIT.

The theme editor allows you to customize the Buttons and Icons style and the Color Scheme for your Client Galleries.

STEP SIX

In the Buttons and Icons section, click the button and icon style you want to use.

You can choose from the following styles:

Original
Ghost
Flat Square
Round Ghost
Round
Classic

The selected option will be outlined so you can confirm which style is active.

STEP SEVEN

In the Colors section, click a color block to open the color selection tool. You can also enter a hex code if you have a specific brand color you want to use.

The colors you set here apply universally to your Client Galleries proofing events.

The available color settings include:

Background: The color that displays behind gallery images and text.
Text: The color used for text, including menus, navigation, and file names.
Accent: The highlight color used for the active gallery, favorites count, comments count, menu button, and grid button.
Button Text: The color used for text that displays on top of the accent color, such as favorites and comments buttons.

FINAL STEP

After you finish updating your button style, icon style, and colors, click SAVE CHANGES at the bottom of the screen.

Your updated theme settings will apply to your Client Galleries.

Additional Options or Helpful Notes

Theme colors are universal for your Client Galleries. Updating a theme color can affect the appearance of multiple proofing events that use that theme.

If you use specific brand colors, entering hex codes is the best way to keep your Client Galleries consistent with your website, logo, and other marketing materials.
