If your photography website is not appearing in Google search results, it does not always mean something is broken. New websites and newly published pages often take time to be discovered, indexed, and ranked by Google. This guide explains the most common reasons a PhotoBiz website may not be showing up in search results and walks you through how to troubleshoot each one.
Check if your website is indexed.
Go to Google and search for:
site:yourdomain.com
This search shows all pages Google has indexed for your website. If results appear, Google is already indexing at least part of your site. If no results appear, your website or specific pages may not be indexed yet.
Verify your domain and review indexing status in Google Search Console.
Log into Google Search Console and confirm your website is verified using the Domain property type. If your domain’s DNS is managed by PhotoBiz, verification is completed by adding a TXT record through your PhotoBiz DNS settings.
Once your domain is verified, open the Page Indexing report in Google Search Console. This report shows whether Google can find and index your pages, or if pages are excluded due to errors, missing verification, or other issues.
If your website is not verified, Google cannot reliably index your pages or provide accurate reporting.

Review and customize the SEO settings for the page.
Log into your PhotoBiz account and open the page you want to appear in search results. Click SEO in the top-right corner of the page to open the SEO panel.
By default, pages use Auto SEO, which generates meta information based on your site name and page content. While this is a good starting point, pages often perform better when SEO is customized.
Confirm that the page:
Is set to Auto or Custom SEO
Has a clear meta title and meta description
Uses a short, descriptive Friendly URL (URL slug)
For best results, use ASK PHOTOBIZ AI to generate SEO based on your services and location, or manually enter custom meta data that clearly explains what the page is about and who it is for.
After making changes, click SAVE CHANGES.

Check for thin or duplicate content.
Pages with very little text or repeated content across multiple pages may not rank well in search results. Each page should include original, helpful content that clearly explains your services, location, and offerings.
The ASK PHOTOBIZ AI writing assistant can help generate page content quickly while keeping it relevant and unique.

Allow time for Google to process changes.
SEO updates are not instant. After making changes, it can take several weeks for Google to re-crawl, re-index, and adjust rankings. Continue publishing quality content and avoid making frequent major changes during this time.
New domains may take longer to appear in results.
Paid ads do not influence organic SEO rankings.
