The PhotoBiz Website Builder makes it easy to create 301 redirects when a page's URL changes or is removed from your site. A 301 redirect automatically sends visitors and search engines to the new URL, passing along any SEO value the old page had. This guide will show you how to set up a 301 redirect for your PhotoBiz website.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on WEBSITE in the left side menu.
STEP TWO
Click on the SETTINGS option at the top, center of your Website control panel.
STEP THREE
Click on the redirects button in the list of settings for your website builder.
STEP FOUR
The right-side menu will open and you'll see the following options:
- ORIGINAL URL: this section will contain the original URL that you're creating a 301 redirect for.
- REDIRECT TO: Drop down menu contains the options for where visitors who enter the Original URL are redirected to. The following options are available:
NONE - No redirect
EXTERNAL LINK - redirects to a link outside of your main website.
PAGE - choose from a list of the existing pages on your PhotoBiz website.
Important Note: If you're creating a 301 redirect for a new page to redirect from an old URL, be sure to either delete or set the old page to disabled for the 301 redirect to function properly.
FORM - choose from a list of PhotoBiz forms you've created in your PhotoBiz account.
EMAIL MARKETING - choose from a list of email marketing campaigns you've create in your PhotoBiz account.
FILE - choose from a list of Files you've uploaded to the Documents section of your PhotoBiz account.
Any 301 redirects you've set up will be visible in this section similar to the screen shot below.
