How Search Results Colors Are Determined on PhotoBiz Websites

Overview

Your website’s on-site search results use the colors selected in your Global Color Picker. The search results page is generated automatically and does not have its own color settings. This guide explains which global colors control search results headings, titles, links, and supporting details. Updating these colors also affects other areas of your website that use the same global settings.

Before You Begin

Site search must be enabled for visitors to search your website and view the results page. If you have not added it yet, follow How to Add Website Search to Your PhotoBiz Website.

Which Global Colors Control Search Results?

Each type of text in your search results uses a specific global color setting:

  • ACCENT COLOR 1: Controls the search results heading, content-type headings such as “Post,” and general search results text and links.
  • ACCENT COLOR 2: Controls individual result titles for blog posts, products, services, and Scheduler services.
  • SITE TEXT COLOR: Controls supporting details, including blog post dates, product prices, service prices, and Scheduler service prices.

How to Change Search Results Colors

In your PhotoBiz account, go to WEBSITE → DESIGN → EDIT DESIGN SETTINGS → GLOBAL COLOR PICKER.

Update the corresponding global colors, then click SAVE CHANGES. For detailed instructions on choosing and saving your colors, follow How to Customize Your Website Colors in PhotoBiz.

Search results do not support individual color overrides. You cannot assign a separate color to a specific result or change these colors only for the search results page.

Review Your Changes

After saving, open your website and run a search that includes the content types you want to check, such as blog posts or products. Make sure headings, titles, links, and supporting details are easy to read against the background.

Review other sections of your website that use the same global colors. Those sections will also reflect your updates unless their corresponding colors have been customized at the block level.
