How to Change the Image Shown When Sharing a PhotoBiz Page

Overview

When you share a link to a page on your PhotoBiz website, Facebook and other services may display an image with the link. This is called a link preview image.

PhotoBiz uses the first visible image in a content block on the page for its Open Graph information. To change the sharing image, replace or change the first visible image on the page you are sharing.

STEP ONE

Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.

STEP TWO

Open the website page containing the sharing image you want to change.

Review the page from top to bottom and identify the first image displayed in its content. This image may be part of a Banner Block, Images Block, Text + Image Block, List Block, Blog Block, or another block containing an image.

FINAL STEP

Update the first image displayed on the page with the image you want to use for the link preview.

Once the image is updated, PhotoBiz will use it in the page’s Open Graph information.

What If the Previous Image Still Appears?

Facebook and other third-party services may cache an earlier version of a page’s link preview. Because of this, the previous image may continue to appear after you update the first image on the page.

Each service controls how it displays and refreshes shared links, so the image may update at different times across Facebook, X, iMessage, and other platforms.
